In television dramas, they often potray plots of how a guy being miserably sandwitched between his wife and his mum. In many viewers' point of views, they may be wondering whether the guy is really that miserable anot. I'm likewise. I often think that such misery can be avoided or at least being make lesser. It's hard to believe that two people can neva get along. It's the efforts part. Let's see, if the wife tries to understand wad the mother wants and if the mother tries to understand wad the wife wants, the problem wld be solved in this case. The guy wld not feel so miserable.Often it is the miscommunication that leads to sprewing problems.
Having the patience to try to understand someone is hard ( i know ), not many are able to do that. But if one really does that, misery will not formed. Character of one can hardly change but perception of another can. Ever heard before the phrase," dun jugde a book by it's cover ". This phrase brings out that meaning. No matter how old , how torn , how ugly the book cover is. It is the fruitful contents shown in the layers and layers of papers tat matters.
Though i agree that in life, you will definitely come across people tat u once see them and u will feel that u will not be able to click well with them. This is seriously a perception problem and is quite unfair to a person.Rmb the time when i first met peiling, i thot she was a very dao person but aftertime came to know her better, realise that she is a very nice ger, we even became close frens.
Going back to the story, if the wife and the mother wld try to understand how miserable it is to sandwitched between them, the ending might be different again. There is no particular person being responsible for causing this misery. Because all three parties are feeling the same, it's just that the guy feels more. There is a chinese saying, both the palm and the back of ur hand is flesh. his wife, his mum, who to choose? Both are his everything. He wldn't give up his wife to satisfy his mum , he wldn't listen to his mum to give up his life partner. Wad he longs for is just for two parties to come together. Sounds simple but hard to achieve. But again, nothing is impossible. He may just have to work even harder to achieve the ending he wants. However, he still needs the help of the two.
Television dramas often end wif happy endings, how the mum and wife came to realise that they are causing their son and husband in pain. Decided to understand one another, and when they did that, they realised that the other is not that bad lyke they always assumed each other to be. The guy smiled at last. It is a joyful ending.
But in life, if one is to experience the same, will the ending still be happy?
