I'm a SURVIVOR!
Extremely proud of myself to be able to survive a whole week of night classes + sat class.I have been feeding on 2 pieces of bread each day for dinner.Do a bit of calculation and u will realise that I have been eating 10 breads for the whole of last week.AND that is excluding my breakfast.Everyday without fail in the lecture room,my beloved partner, yunjie babe, and I will just turn to one another.exchanging a sick-of-bread and sian expression.In fact, she's worse than me.At least, the 10 breads that I ate are of different flavours.For her, she eat the same bread ( two pieces of plain bread with jam ) for consecutive 7 days.She's definitely feeling more sick than I do.haha.The timetable for this semester is crap.tues, friday and sat classes.with a timetable like that, when can I go out?stupid kuku timing somemore.3 30 to 6 30 for sat lessons.it's smack right in the middle of the day.sometimes I really feel that the person who plans this timetable is abit brainless.Guess The only good thing abt the whole week of night classes is I MANAGED to save some money.which I can spent it on sunday.Sunday is the day that I'm so looking forward to.Cuz that is the day that I no longer need to eat bread.and can really indulge myself in luxury food.Sunday is the day where I met up with THE OLDIES - my sec sch classmates.We decided to pamper ourselves with GRAND HYATT HIGH TEA BUFFET.The buffet is not ready at the time when we reached there.so we decided to take a couple of pictures outside the lounge.At the same time, we are also busy finding the main entrance.We have no idea where it is.CX suggested that It might be water fountain area.But we all doubt so, cuz it's pretty too troublesome to enter from there.Anyway we still managed to find the main entrance.As we entered, I can feel the classy ambience.created by the comforty sofa, the flowers paintings, mirrors and dim lightings.Me and cx did not managed to sit on the sofa tho ening and ser mentioned that we will exchange seats after an hr.but I think all of us were alltoo busy eating till we forget abt this.We went to the tea selection counter first.GRAND HYATT has quite a wide range of tea selection.We were all busy selecting our own preferred tea choice.Cx chose afternoon tea.as for Ser and Ening, I really can't rmb.My ultimate choice is Vanilla Something. Chose that over others because it has a sweet smell.There's one that smells like hamster food. haha!After settling our tea choices, We went over to food selection.GRAND HYATT divided the food into savoury and non-savoury section.We started off with the savoury section.We took almost each of everything, There is Roasted Mushroom with foccacio bread.Mozeralla cheese with tomatoes andHam with Mango.Forgive me if I spell anything wrongly. Also these are not the actual names.I can't rmb everything. They have long long names.Well I personally feel that the roasted mushrooms with foccacio bread is quite good.Mayb because I have a thing for mushrooms.The Mozeralla cheese with tomatoes is the best out of all.I think I saw ser having a second helping.AS for the Ham with Mango, sadly I didn't taste any mango.CX still asks me where's the mango.It's just the mango spread in between the hams.Follow by turkey breast ham with mustard and some pea kinda of thingy.this is presented in small saucepan.This is Ening's Favourite.Cuz I heard her saying it when she's eating her second plate of it.After which will be prawns.There are 3 prawns with roes on them in a champange glass.I lyke the presentation of this dish.Of course the taste of it as well.I think it's fresh and I lyke how the roe burst when I bite on it.This is listed as one of my favourites.Me and Ser each has 3 cups of it and we regretted not having more.Next will be the mushroom soup and some bread with meat kinda of thingy.I duno what's that cuz Ening took that.so I didn't notice the name of it.Mushroom soup was nice as for the bread with meat thingy,Sorry I dun think I know how to appreciate it.Scones were also served with fresh cream and jam.I just ate abit of it.I think it's okay. has a sweet taste.But I didn't finish all cuz I thot if I finish it,my stomach will not be able to accommodate more things.We keep snapping photos of everything.U name it, I think we have it.Even the sugar cubes are being captured.That basically sums up our 1st round.We had a little gossip session while eatingAnd updated each other of our lives.Can you imagine we are friends for almost 10 years?Most of us know each other since Sec 1.Except for Ser, her case abit special.With a little interval in between, we continue with our 2nd round.The NON-SAVOURY Section.Again, we took a piece of all the cakes that are available.I think there is caramel, opera, strawberry cheesecake, mixed berry crumble, this berry pudding in a small cup, bread and butter pudding.After taking a small bite on each, Ening gave up.She commented that they were too sweet!CX says she is going to faint bcuz of that.I thot SUGAR RUSH suppose to make u feel high ?Ser and me did the best. we managed to clear abit more than they do.Mixed berry are too sour! Strawberry cheesecake is still okay.As for caramel and opera, I dun really like it. Cuz they are coffee-flavoured.I thot opera suppose to be chocolate.Cuz the one at bakerzin apparently is.Bread and butter pudding as well as the berry pudding in a small cup.I dun lyke either cuz I can taste too much egg.I think if u eat more, u will feel lyke puking.Another of my favourite will be the Sweet crepes.This is nice.Inside the crepe, there are banana slices, chocolate chips and fresh cream.They are make on the spot by the chef.So it's still hot.U can choose to eat it with 3 kind of sauces, namely caramel, strawberry and chocolate.I ate 2 of it.Our final Round is the Chocolate Fondue.There are quite a number of choices of fruits.Rock Melon, Honeydew, Strawberries, Grapes, Mashmallows and Cookies.The rock melon is uber sweet.Nice!As for the strawberries, abit disappointing as it is too hard!We took quite a few playful shots of us dipping our fruits into the chocolate fondue fountain.CX covered her fruits with the most chocolate.GREEDY GER!We took polaroids there as well.For photos, It shld be uploaded on fb SOON.So cx, if ur reading this post! u shld know wad to do.After the high tea, Cx left to join her other frens.So the 3 of us decided to walk around Far East Plaza to see what we can get and alsoto wait for SEr's Bee to arrive.Walked past this shoe shop,wanted to get this cute pair of shoes but realised they dun have my size.Ser's Bee finally arrivedEning left to meet her parents for dinner. We walked to Taka to meet MR Woodblock.Ser says MR Woodblock is an emo kid.Yeah he is.And that day he is super pissed with the huge crowds in town as well as in the MRT.Having no idea to do next,Ser suggested LAN-ing.Cuz she knows I wanted to try it too.So the four of us just went to LAN.I didn’t realise LAN-ing can be so cheap!I always thot that it would costs $8 - $10 bucks per hour.Ser's BEe says Guys entertainment are ALWAYS cheap!We played l4d.We tried vs each other.Me and ser - one groupMr Woodblock and Ser's Bee - one group.First Round - Me and ser as ZombiesSecond Round - Me and ser as humansBoth rounds we lose! it's kinda of expected.I'm a LIABILITY!MR woodblock even commented that I'm worse than the computer.at least the computer can get them.AGRh! I'll prove u wrong!then we went on to play campaign.haha I'm the ger cuz Ser says it's easier to spot me.true enuf, they are always looking out for me.cuz I always went missing!or zombies attacking behind me and I still didn't realise it.But I think I'm improving as the game progress.There are some parts that ser cannot get it to.like there's one part where we need to jump onto pipes and roof tops which will lead us to another building.She keep falling down. In the end, she gave up.Her Bee help her go up the building.As for me, I reached the building safely cuz I followed Mr woodblock's step closely.throughout the game, I keep screaming!where are u guys? I cannot see u ppl.sAve me! save me!How to heal myself ah?and the rest, they were shouting! THE WITCH ! THE WITCH! u STARTLED the WITCH!Eileen! heal urself ! - by serFollow Me! U must look around! u must jump and move forward! - by Mr Woodblockthe ger! the ger! Faster get into the lift! - by Ser's Beeyeah there's this lift part. everyone was in the lift alr.left me.I was still making my way.all the zombies are behind chasing me alr.u know how frantic I was.I wanted to run but I cannot!Finally I make it!In the end, only me and Ser's bee survived.actually Mr woodblock shld have survived but he went back to save ser and ser's bee.he instructed me to stay on the ship!but hor, the ship also not safe leh.got zombies come and attack me.so the game ended with in loving memory ofNAVILALALAIn conclusion.I'm THE GROUP & MR WOODBLOCK's LIABILITY!sobs :(
